The guiding principle of Lisa’s teaching is to adapt yoga to the individual rather than adapt the individual to yoga.
Her aim is to give care and attention to each student who enters the class. She shares her knowledge willingly and with great delight to those who wish to receive it. Her qualifications are listed on subsequent pages.
In addition to teaching classes, she also regularly helps those with a variety of conditions and illnesses such as: depression, anxiety, cancer, brain tumours, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, asthma and more. She teaches all ages from the young to the elderly, from the healthy to those wanting or needing extra support.
Lisa runs workshops, foundation courses and teacher trainings. Her workshops are opportunities to delve into specific yoga subjects in greater depth than can be done in a regular yoga class. Her foundation courses are for those serious students of yoga who might be considering becoming yoga teachers or for those who would like to learn more about yoga generally. She is a qualified BWY Diploma course tutor which allows her to train students to become yoga teachers.
Finally, Lisa is a qualified Vedic chant teacher. She runs foundation courses in Vedic chanting and will be running a teacher training course in 2022. She runs group chanting sessions as well offering 1-2-1’s. She continues her studies of the ancient texts with her teachers and travels to India to study in order to further her development in yoga.
